Langkawi 2012-Day 2 (Makam Mahsuri)

The next day, we decided to go to the cable car again because we really wanted to walk on the Sky Bridge and see for ourselves what it has to offer.

Before going there, we made a stop at Makam Mahsuri. There, we spent some time walking and snapping some pictures.

-Before the entrance to Makam Mahsuri-

-At the entrance-

-The classic trishaw. This was pulled by a man while passengers were sitting on it-

-The welcome note-

-This is the entrance to a village called Kampung Kedah-

-The Directory-

-One of the classical house-

-Teratak Sri Mawar-

-Tools and equipment used to process rice-

-The baby swing-

-Traditional tools for cooking-

-The window-

-This is how Mahsuri is illustrated-

-The window-

-There's a souvenir shop. Believe me this place is much cheaper than other places outside. But, make sure you have Ringgit Malaysia to shop here-

-Mahsuri's well-

-Last snap at the house-

Then, we proceeded to the Cable Car.

Finally! We made it to the Sky Bridge! But, I'm warning you, before we reached there, we had to climb up and down countless stairs. Maybe for only 5 minutes but it needs a lot of stamina!

The weather on the Sky Bridge also kept changing. At one time, it felt cold. The next time, it felt hot. But, we were so excited that we just ignored everything and enjoyed the scenery...

-On the way back fuh fuh fuh-

-There's even a PO Box up there!-

-There was a technician doing maintenance. Wow! It was high, you know...-

It was about 5pm when we got down. Oh, no!

We were running late for our dinner! Actually, we had a reservation made by one of my friend's brother at Rebak Marina Hotel. He worked there as a chef. So, he invited us to have a dinner there.

Believe it or not, the hotel is on an island and it's the only 5 star hotel on an island outside Langkawi (currently). Maybe you can check about it here.

Oh, we were running late because we should catch a boat to go there by 6.15pm. Of course, we didn't make it. So, we had to wait for the next trip at 7.45pm. However, we didn't regret it because we could enjoy the beautiful sunset!

-Very relaxing-

-Yes, I changed my shirt because I sweat terribly at the SkyBridge-

-I loved the arrangement of flowers here-

-Believe it or not, I snapped this picture myself hehehe-

-That hut is the waiting area-

-The boat just arrived-

-However, it waited for 7.45pm to depart-

-Waiting...-

-We must wear the life jackets and we were forbidden from using any devices with light such as camera and handphone because the light would disturb the boat driver-

The dinner went well. The place was very exclusive. If it wasn't the invitation, we wouldn't go there on our own! Because we are not that rich you know.

One plate of spaghetti would cost you about RM55. Luckily, it was quite delicious...Three of us ordered different menu and only the pizza wasn't finished. So, we asked to take away hehehe....

I don't know what is the green thing's name? Is it a buggy car? Well, that was the car that picked and sent us from the jetty to the hotel...Well, it wasn't that far...but, you know, it's an exclusive place. So, we were treated very nicely...

We got back to the motel, feeling so tired...

BUT we were so EXCITED because we were going to start our package on the very next day! Yeay!
